Penmex were established in response to an ever growing need for below-the-line marketing solutions, as recent research has suggested that consumers are experiencing brand fatigue as a result of repeated exposure to above-the-line marketing. At Penmex we specialise in below line customer acquisition through providing cost effective, measurable and tailor-made marketing solutions.
Putting the personal touch into every campaign we conduct, we are able to Increase Market Share and Raise Brand Awareness for our clients through Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer promotional Marketing & Sales campaigns.
Our tailor-made marketing strategies allow us to develop and employ the perfect campaign for maximum exposure. Although we are a relatively young company our current client portfolio includes several of the UK’s blue-chip companies. We provide both client and consumer with the highest quality experience by offering a full-service approach to direct marketing.
We have current expansion plans to extend into Glasgow and Newcastle in the first financial quarter of 2017. Within the next 12 months, our objective is to have offices throughout the UK in Liverpool, Birmingham, Belfast, Manchester and London before pursuing international expansion into New York and then Sydney within the next 24 months.

Kirsty PennalManaging Director
After graduating I decided to chase my dream of earning a living from equestrianism, which has always been my passion. I established my own company Unique Carriage Services Ltd, providing horse drawn wedding and funeral services across the North East of England. I experienced good success, however due to the economic downturn when the UK went into recession, I quickly realised people didn't have as much flexible income. I realised that I wasn't going to provide myself with the lifestyle I aspired towards so I began to search for a new career challenge.
I began working in the sales and marketing industry in Newcastle in June 2013. I had zero experience in the marketing and sales field but thanks to the dedicated and talented group of people I had the fortune of working with, and the incredible training I received from the company, I was able to gain all of the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to run my own business in the industry. I am particularly excited to be part of an industry with incredible expansion opportunities, and I look forward to establishing Penmex as a leading direct marketing company in the UK.
I am half Welsh, half Scottish, born and raised in Arbroath, Scotland. I studied Professional Dance at The Space in Dundee and later transferred to Telford College, in Edinburgh, where I completed my Diploma in Professional Dance Artist.
Literally hours after graduating, I moved to Dubai where I spent 9 and a half years as a professional dancer, instructor, choreographer and project manager. I worked on mainstream events, alongside mainstream artists and royalty. I worked at corporate events, ceremonies and product launches throughout the Middle East.
After many years of being away from home and my family, I decide to return to Scotland for a 3 month break, seeking temporary work to keep busy and make some money. It was during this time I found Penmex, and met Kirsty Pennal. Kirsty is literally one of the most positive, motivating and hard working people I have ever met, she is the corporate version of me! Dance requires a huge amount of work ethic, and to be honest, most of the people that I have worked with over the years have been super positive because they were happy doing what they did. It was refreshing to see this in another industry.
I decided to turn my hand to the administration side of the business and use my existing qualities in a different field. I agreed to work with Kirsty for 3 months initially, however, this quickly changed when I realised I was excited to pursue a long-term career with Penmex. Not only have my transferable skills been effective, but I have also developed my skills further and increased my experience and knowledge within a new industry. The best part is that I can still train and teach in my own time.
I am excited to see what the future holds for Penmex.
