Managing Director at Penmex Kirsty Pennal travelled to Newcastle this past weekend to attend an industry leadership conference where she was invited to be a keynote speaker.
The industry conference, which is a quarterly held event, took place in Newcastle at the 4-Star Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, situated on the banks of the River Tyne.
Along with a number of other sales and marketing professionals from across the UK, Ms Pennal was asked to share her business advice and insight with the industry’s best and brightest young professionals. The event, which invited budding entrepreneurs and business owners from across Scotland and the North East of England, was organised to educate attendees on leadership and provide them with information to develop leadership skills. With 2017 predicted to be a record-breaking year for the direct sales and marketing industry, experts are keen to help young professionals gain the knowledge needed to seize and capitalise on every opportunity and progress their career development.
As the Managing Director of one of the fastest growing companies in Scotland’s capital city, Ms Pennal was invited to share her experiences with attendees, and discuss the important role of setting strong foundations. The one-day event welcomed a total of 7 speakers from within the sales and marketing industry; with each speaker chosen due to their individual successes and merit within the industry. Ms Pennal is passionate about sharing her experience with others, and she capitalises on every speaking engagement she is invited to attend.
“These events are great for me personally, being able to share my advice and insights, but having the opportunity to hear from other individuals is also incredibly powerful. It’s always great to be in a room full of like-minded people, and it’s only at events like this that you see just how much potential the industry has to grow and transform,” stated Ms Pennal.
Penmex recently extended their market reach into Glasgow, and they have massive expansion plans for the remainder of 2017, and entrepreneur and director at Penmex Ms Pennal believes attendance at events such as the one on Newcastle play an integral role. “The information acquired at these events is invaluable, and the opportunity to meet and connect with award winning entrepreneurs at the top of their game is one of the most significant benefits of attending,” commented Ms Pennal.
